the other night i was watching a chick flick with my wife and the girl in the movie was mourning after her husband had passed away. you've probably seen the movie, the name escapes me right now. it had ben afflecks wife in it - jennifer garner. anyway she made a comment (her character made the comment) that she is amazed and almost wishes for natural disasters to occur. that hit a chord with me and i suddently felt somewhat guilty. i find myself so intrigued by natural disasters and their wrath that i almost feel as if i'm wishing them to happen. i of course do not want to see people die, but i find them simply amazing. do you feel this guilt with me everytime you catch yourself tuning into the tv and searching the internet for updates?
